Guitar & Bass String Cutting Pliers
Trim surplus guitar or bass string ends with compact end-cutting pliers. Coated handles give you a grip while the jaws approach the cut point at the tool's end.
✅ Trim the fitted string end - Cutting jaws remove suitable surplus string material after the restringing step.
✅ Approach the cut point - An end-cutting head positions the working jaws at the front of the tool.
✅ Hold coated handles - A covered handle surface provides finger contact during the cutting movement.
Prepare the trim after fitting the string
Restringing can leave excess material beyond the required working length. These pliers provide an end-cutting layout to approach the intended trimming point with a compact hand tool.
Check suitability for the string material before cutting and keep clipped ends contained. Prepare the instrument and other restringing equipment separately, using appropriate handling around the sharp ends of the wire.
