LY86D Digital AC Voltage Tester Pen

Use Each Test Mode Within Its Limits

Contact testing covers the specified 12-250 V AC range. Non-contact sensing depends on wire position, shielding, insulation and nearby fields; it does not establish that a circuit is safe to touch.

Read the manual, inspect the tool, perform its self-test and verify it on a known live source before use. Keep hands away from exposed metal during live testing. Continuity checks require all power sources to be disconnected.

Choose the flathead or Phillips option. Do not use a damaged or wet tester, and keep its small batteries out of children's reach.
