OSCOR Green vs. OSCOR Blue:

The main technical difference between OSCOR Green and OSCOR Blue is in the functioning of the Trace Data Recorder and Spectrogram Function. OSCOR Green's Spectrogram function saves intermediate traces at 24.4 kHz resolution every 10 seconds, while OSCOR Blue's Trace Data Recorder saves intermediate traces at 12.2 kHz resolution every 5 seconds. This means that the OSCOR Green captures more detailed data with higher resolution but less frequently, while OSCOR Blue saves less detailed data, but more frequently. The choice between the two models depends on what you need. If your focus is on obtaining more detailed information about the signals and capturing precise data If your requirements involve rapidly changing signals that need to be captured in real-time, the OSCOR Green Spectrum Analyzer is a more suitable option. However, if your requirements involve rapidly changing signals that need to be captured in real-time, the OSCOR Blue Spectrum Analyzer would be a better choice.

Waterfall Function

Efficient and compact with the built-in software & auto-switching antenna system

With the combination of both built-in software and automatic multi-antenna switching system, OSCOR Green is an all-in-one solution that eliminates the need for additional accessories, cables, laptops, or antennas. This simplifes the overall setup and operation, making the OSCOR Green more portable and convenient for professionals who need to perform RF detection and analysis in various locations.

Complete Signal Analysis

The advanced signal analysis and location capabilities of OSCOR Green include patented trace analysis for rapid signal detection, unique spectrogram (trace data recorder), raster waterfall display, persistence display, signal list generation, and more. REI's patented trace analysis scans the area with a sweep speed of 24 GHz per 1 second at 12.2 kHz resolution, quickly providing full trace and signal analysis and helping you identifiy and understand the RF environment. The unique spectrogram (waterfall) displays a visual representation of received traces over time, allowing you to see and track the frequency spectrum in real-time. It also provides a historical view of the signals, enabling you to see how they have changed over time. This can be especially useful in identifying periodic or rapidly changing signals. The raster waterfall display shows short term spectrogram of received signals. Persistence display shows signals in varying colors based on their persistence. The most persisent signals show in brigher colors, while the less persistent signals show in darker colors. This feature helps recognize signals that are possibly hiding or masked by existing area signals. As OSCOR Green quickly identifies localized RF energy transmissions, it generates signal lists with which you can easily analyze the detected signals and identify potential threats. It is also is capable of logging signals from burst/packet and frequency hopping devices, even when the signals are intermittent. The complete and advanced signal analysis capabilities make it OSCOR Green a powerful tool for identifying and understanding the RF environment.
