The scanner uses a 5-megapixel CMOS sensor; its advertised 10-megapixel output is interpolated. It accepts 35 mm, also called 135-format, film and slides.

USB provides the 5 V power connection. The supplied package lists USB and AV cables, a manual and slide holders; a power charger is not included. TV output supports NTSC and PAL.

The scanner measures approximately 87 × 86.5 × 102.5 mm and weighs about 299 g.
