Make the wind check repeatable

Hold the meter in a consistent position and allow the vane to respond before recording. The 15-second average mode is useful when a breeze varies, while MAX/MIN readings show the extremes of the checking session.

Choose BT-100 or the APP-labelled option according to the connection functions you need, confirming the app requirements for that version. Record the location and conditions with the result; an instrument reading alone does not decide whether an outdoor activity is safe.
