Put speed adjustment where you can reach it

The remote potentiometer can be mounted at your control surface while the module sits nearby. Match the supply and load with sufficient operating margin; the stated 30 A figure is a maximum, not a universal continuous-use rating. It cannot run a brushless motor or connect directly to AC.
