Robot Gripper and Servo Component Options
Build a robot gripping mechanism with the selected claw or servo component for a programmable DIY project.
✅ Match the gripper to the object - Several claw shapes and opening ranges let you select the mechanism for the task.
✅ Develop your own gripping control - Servo-based components support a controller-driven opening and closing workflow.
✅ Buy the required build component - Separate servo and claw selections let you replace or assemble the needed part.
Plan the mechanism before choosing the parts
A small robot needs a gripper that suits both the object and the mechanical arm. Start with the required opening and mounting, then match the servo, power and control signals to that design.
Choose the exact option carefully: a servo-only selection is not a complete gripper or robot arm. Assembly and programming are required, and a servo's torque figure is not the payload capacity of the finished mechanism.

Technical details
- Selections: claw designs 1-6, MG996R servo pair or DS3218 servo
- Claw materials: plastic or aluminium, version dependent
- Clamping range depends on selected design
- Control references: PWM / suitable host system
- Controller, matching power and complete arm: separate
