Solar Position Finder for Telescope Mounts

Help position a properly equipped solar telescope with a compact solar finder providing a separate aiming reference.

✅ Locate the pointing direction - The finder supports Sun positioning without using the main telescope eyepiece for searching.

✅ Follow the position during setup - A separate aiming reference helps with the described manual tracking workflow.

✅ Check the mounting fit - A Vixen-type finder slot reference helps you match the accessory to the telescope.

Aim with the right solar equipment

Finding the Sun is only one part of preparing a solar observation. This accessory is an aiming tool, so it must be used as instructed alongside a telescope with the correct solar-viewing equipment.

Never look directly at the Sun or through an unfiltered telescope. The finder does not replace a proper securely fitted solar filter or make an ordinary telescope safe for solar observation.
