Place the probe where the plants are growing

A soil reading is local to the probe, so position it in a representative part of the growing area. Compare readings with the plant's needs and the actual moisture you observe before choosing an irrigation rule.

Confirm probe placement, battery contents and app compatibility before installation. EC is a conductivity reference rather than a full nutrient analysis, and the sensor does not include a watering valve or guarantee irrigation without separate control equipment.
