UT256A/UT256B Digital Fork Meter
Bring an individual conductor into the open fork to check its current. The UT256A and UT256B combine a fork-meter format with digital multimeter functions for electrical testing within the selected model's limits.
✅ Position the conductor without opening clamp jaws - The fork opening provides direct access to the marked current-measuring position.
✅ Keep a reading visible after the check - Data hold retains the measurement while you move to read the screen.
✅ Use one instrument for several checks - Voltage, resistance and continuity functions complement the fork-current measurement.
Choose the Current Function Your Work Needs
A fork meter offers a different approach from a hinged clamp: position the individual conductor at the indicated point in the opening for the measurement. Follow the meter's instructions for positioning and measurement category throughout the test.
The important model difference is DC current: UT256B includes it, while the UT256A option is labelled without DC current. Match the exact model and ratings to the circuit. Only work on electrical systems with the training and protective equipment the task requires.
