Keep probe position consistent between checks
A magnetic-field reading depends on where and how the probe is positioned. Use a repeatable orientation and distance when comparing magnets or assemblies, and zero the instrument according to its instructions.
Select UT335A, B or C around its documented accuracy requirements. Display resolution is not overall accuracy, and the instrument is not a general electrical-safety or radiation detector.
