3D Printer Auto Bed-Levelling Sensor Kit - V3.2
Give compatible printer firmware measurements of the build surface before the first layer. This retractable-pin bed probe kit includes mounting brackets and two cable lengths, providing hardware for an automatic bed-mesh workflow on a configured FDM printer.
✅ Measure the surface before printing - The probe supplies contact measurements for compatible firmware's bed-mesh routine.
✅ Adapt the mounting to the printer - Four supplied brackets provide options for fitting the sensor to a compatible assembly.
✅ Plan the cable route - Two cable lengths help connect the probe at different installation distances.
✅ See a self-test fault indication - The LED flashes when the probe detects a self-test or operating problem.
Make Bed Measurement Part of the Print Routine
An uneven first-layer gap can be difficult to judge across the entire bed by eye. A probe lets the configured printer sample several positions and build a surface map that the firmware can use during printing.
Once installed and calibrated, the probe can become part of the normal preparation sequence rather than a separate manual measurement exercise. Mechanical bed adjustment and the nozzle offset still matter, so follow the printer's setup procedure rather than expecting the sensor to correct every first-layer issue.
