USB-to-M-Bus Converter — Master or Slave Module

Select a USB-to-M-Bus converter for a compatible meter-reading, development or integration setup. The master and slave options perform different bus roles and are not interchangeable.

Choose the correct module

• USB to MBUS Master: computer-side interface for a compatible meter-reading arrangement; listed capacity is ten standard slave loads.
• USB to MBUS Slave: module for the slave role in supported testing or integration.

Check the system before connecting

Use one master with compatible slaves; do not connect two masters together. Match the driver, bus power, load and serial settings to the selected module. The listed 300–9600 bps reference depends on version. The master has two connection groups on the same bus, rather than two independent buses. Meters, host computer and software are separate.
