D4 Duo Dual-Capsule Camera Microphone
Record the subject in front of the camera and your voice behind it with one compact microphone. The V-Mic D4 DUO uses front and rear capsules so a narrated scene or interview can include both sides of the conversation.
✅ Include the camera operator's voice - The rear capsule captures narration from behind the camera.
✅ Keep a separate source on the right channel - The auxiliary input replaces the rear capsule feed when a compatible source is connected.
✅ Reduce transferred camera movement - The supplied shock mount helps isolate mechanical vibration from the microphone.
✅ Keep the camera rig lighter - The approximately 40 g microphone adds a compact on-camera audio option.
Tell the Story from Both Sides of the Camera
An interview question or spoken explanation can sound distant when a forward-facing microphone is the only pickup. A rear capsule gives the camera operator a recording path without turning the microphone away from the scene.
Connect to a compatible 3.5 mm microphone input with the required external bias supply. The auxiliary input is for a suitable lavalier or receiver source, and its channel routing matters during editing. This microphone is not a standalone recorder or wireless transmitter.
