Design the strip and power path together

Addressable lighting can change individual sections of a strip rather than switching every LED to the same colour. Select the correct LED type and configure the layout in WLED before building the effect.

Match strip voltage, wiring and current requirements to the controller and supply. Long runs can need separate power injection and suitable protection; the controller does not convert every LED voltage or make the installation weatherproof.
