5-Pin XLR DMX512 Signal Tester
Check a DMX512 line at the connector with a compact plug-in tester that makes the signal indication visible through coloured LEDs.
✅ Check at the unresponsive fixture's connection - A five-pin male XLR provides a direct test point on a matching DMX line.
✅ See the indication without another display - Red, green and blue LEDs present the tester's status at the connector.
✅ Move the check between fixtures - A small body is easy to keep in a lighting-tool pouch.
Narrow the lighting fault at the signal end
When a fixture does not respond, the cable and signal path are useful places to investigate. Disconnect the intended line as instructed and use the tester's indicator guide to decide what needs checking next.
The PCM-S-0635 is for DMX512 signal work, not audio or arbitrary powered outputs. Confirm the correct circuit before connection and use the result as one step in the lighting-system diagnosis.
