A pressure pad offers another way to trigger a routine when a supported placement is pressed or released. For example, a configured scene can use a seat-pressure change as an input, with the actual response determined by the devices and rules you set.

The sensor requires a compatible Tuya Zigbee gateway, sold separately. It does not connect directly by Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and is not intended for ZHA, Ewelink, Xiaomi or Apple HomeKit systems.

This is a home-automation sensor, not a substitute for supervision or a dedicated safety or medical alarm. Check the pad's placement and the full notification path before relying on a routine.
