Match the Battery Before Starting a Charge

Confirm the battery chemistry, capacity and permitted charging voltage/current with its manufacturer. The listed application is lead-acid; it should not be treated as an all-chemistry charger.

A charger is not a jump starter, and a repair-mode label does not guarantee restoration of a damaged battery. Follow ventilation and connection instructions, inspect the battery and cables, and do not charge a leaking or otherwise unsafe battery.
