A hand-operated tool for solder removal
Load the plunger, heat the solder joint with a suitable separate iron, then position the pump nozzle and release it according to the tool instructions. The spring action creates suction to draw away molten solder. The pump does not contain a heater and cannot melt the joint on its own.
The body is approximately 208mm long and 21mm wide, with a soft sleeve around the grip. The nozzle is replaceable and the tool can be opened for cleaning, so collected solder can be cleared between repair sessions. Use the appropriate technique for the board and component rather than forcing a lead that remains soldered.
