Prepare the wire with fewer tool changes
The jaws grip and pull insulation from a suitable wire when the handles are squeezed. The adjustable stop sets the exposed length, while the force adjustment changes how firmly the stripping action grips.
The stated stripping range is AWG 10–24. Crimping is a separate function with its own marked positions and a stated AWG 10–22 range, so choose the correct section for the terminal rather than assuming the jaws perform every operation.
Use the cutter only for suitable soft copper or aluminium cable. These are manual preparation tools, not confirmed insulated live-working pliers; disconnect the circuit before working. One tool is supplied, with wire and terminals purchased separately.
