RES-10ATC Salinity Refractometer
Read a small seawater or suitable brine sample through a handheld optical refractometer. The RES-10ATC brings salinity and specific-gravity markings into one instrument with a protective carrying case.
✅ Check a small sample at the work point - A few drops on the prism provide the sample for the optical reading.
✅ Use the two scale markings for the result - The dual display lets you read the corresponding salinity and specific-gravity references through the eyepiece.
✅ Keep the optic ready between checks - The supplied case provides a storage place for the instrument between sessions.
Keep the Salinity Check Consistent
For saltwater preparation or a suitable marine-aquarium routine, record the reading alongside the sample and conditions. A consistent sampling method makes it easier to follow the result over time without treating one reading as the full condition of the system.
Calibrate with the appropriate reference near the intended measurement range as the instructions require, then clean the prism between samples. The specified ATC range is 10-30 degrees C, so use the instrument within its stated conditions rather than assuming temperature compensation removes every limitation.
