Turn a warning light into a starting point
Connect the V600 to a compatible OBD2 diagnostic port and use its menu to read codes, look up code information and view the data the vehicle makes available. A code points to an area for investigation; it does not prove that a named component must be replaced.
The available functions include code reading/clearing, live data, freeze-frame information and I/M readiness where the vehicle provides them. Clearing a code does not repair the underlying fault and can reset readiness information.
Check the vehicle's OBD2 protocol compatibility before ordering, especially for diesel applications. This is not an all-system service tool: ABS, SRS/airbag and TPMS diagnosis are not provided. One wired scanner is supplied; no phone or vehicle is included.
