Bring an opening's status into your smart home
Fit the main sensor and magnet so they align when the door or window closes. The specified magnetic trigger distance is up to 10 mm, so compare the frame shape and closed gap before choosing a mounting position. Test both open and closed states after pairing.
A compatible Zigbee 3.0 gateway is required and is not included. Zigbee2MQTT and ZHA setups are described; Alexa or Yandex use depends on the exact hub or speaker having suitable Zigbee capability. Do not assume every device carrying those names can pair with the sensor.
The two shop options are labelled Zigbee 3.0 Version and Zigbee 3.0 Version 1, without a confirmed functional distinction. Choose the pictured option carefully rather than assuming an upgrade. There is no tamper button, and a contact-state report is not a guarantee that a property is secure.
Compare the two component sizes with the frame and allow alignment within the specified magnetic gap.

A suitable ZHA installation can expose the opening's reported state in Home Assistant.
Alexa use requires a compatible Zigbee-enabled device, rather than any Alexa speaker.
Check the exact Echo model and its Zigbee capability before ordering; pictured devices are not included.
Yandex use likewise depends on a compatible Zigbee-capable hub or station.
