Zigbee2MQTT PIR Sensor - Extra Sensing Options

Add a motion event to a compatible Zigbee2MQTT setup, with optional light-level and vibration functions. These compact Zigbee sensors are selected by the events you want to use in the automation.

✅ Trigger a supported routine from movement - Each version provides PIR motion detection for the compatible automation system.

✅ Include the room's light level when selected - Motion Lux and Motion Lux Vibration add illuminance detection for routines that use that information.

✅ Add vibration as another event when selected - Motion Lux Vibration includes the extra vibration-detection function.

Choose the Events for the Routine

A movement event can be the starting point for a lighting or other supported routine. If that routine should also consider the room's light level, choose the Lux version; select the vibration version only when that extra event is needed.

These models require a compatible Zigbee2MQTT gateway setup. They are not specified for Tuya gateways, Smart Life or ZHA, despite using Zigbee 3.0. Plan the detection position around the actual room and test the selected events before relying on the automation.
