Simple timed watering at the tap
Fit the timer between a compatible outdoor tap and hose, following the water-flow arrow on its body. Select the interval on the dial for each session. This is a mechanical countdown rather than a programmable daily schedule, connected controller or soil-moisture sensor.
The inlet fitting includes a small filter insert. Check it and the seals during routine maintenance and test the flow and shut-off after installation. The timer controls time, not the amount of water delivered, which depends on your supply and watering equipment.
One green ABS timer is supplied with the connector fittings shown. Confirm thread and hose-connector fit before ordering. A hose, tap, sprinkler and irrigation network are not included; the background garden scenes illustrate possible arrangements.
