HDMI 2.1 Cable - Length Options
Behind a television, an HDMI cable is usually too long or too short. These cables come in 1, 2 and 3 m lengths so the run can match the distance between the player and the screen without a coil of spare cable.
✅ Connect the player and the screen directly - A single cable links compatible HDMI equipment without an adapter.
✅ Choose the length for the run - 1 m, 2 m and 3 m options are listed, so the cable is not forced around a corner.
✅ Use a cable rated for the format - The cable is labelled HDMI 2.1, for equipment that expects it.
The length the shelf actually needs
Measure the route before ordering: a cable under tension at the connector is the usual cause of a signal that drops when the screen is adjusted. Leave a little slack behind the television or monitor.
The cable's rating is not the same as the link's capability. The source and the display negotiate what they can carry, so a 2.1 cable on 2.0 equipment simply runs at the lower standard.
