Add small homemade ice cubes to iced tea, juice or a drink at the table. This silicone ice mould forms cubes around a removable inner cylinder for use in a household freezer. It is for home drink preparation without an electric ice-making machine.

Small ice cubes from a flexible cylinder mould

Fill the outer mould, insert the inner cylinder as instructed and keep it upright in the freezer until the water has frozen. Remove the centre and gently flex the silicone wall to release the cubes. This is a passive mould: freezing requires a separate freezer, and the container does not make ice on its own.

The removable insert forms the inside of the ice compartments and gives you a way to release the frozen batch. The cubes are approximately 1.3cm across, useful when you want small pieces in a glass rather than one large ice block. Let the mould loosen briefly at room temperature if the insert is difficult to remove.

Pink, Blue A, Yellow A, Yellow and Blue are single-mould choices; compare their variant photographs for the finish. The 3colors option is a three-piece set in pink, blue and yellow. The mould is approximately 6cm high, with a top diameter around 7.5–8cm depending on the option; do not treat the three-colour photograph as the contents of a single-colour purchase.
