Keep engine hours and service intervals together
Set the appropriate engine firing pattern before using the RPM figure. The signal lead provides a one-wire pickup arrangement for compatible petrol engines; check the supplied installation instructions and engine requirements before mounting or routing it.
Use the total counter as the ongoing record and reset the JOB counter for a particular period of work. Two individual service timers let you keep different maintenance intervals, such as the tasks specified in the equipment's own service schedule.
An RPM threshold can trigger a visual alert. It is a reminder display, not an engine controller or a guarantee against damage. The replaceable CR2450 battery powers the unit, and the housing carries an IP65 rating rather than a claim of immersion resistance.
The attached signal lead provides the connection arrangement to check against your engine instructions.
