8-36 V to 5 V DC Converter

Supply a 5V component from a suitable higher-voltage DC source. This step-down converter is offered in 3A, 5A and 10A-labelled versions for correctly designed low-voltage projects.

✅ Use a suitable 12/24V DC source for a 5V load - The buck-converter function reduces the input to the specified 5V output.

Match the Output to the Component

A 5V LED or control project may need a different supply voltage from the surrounding DC system. The converter provides that voltage-changing stage, while the actual load, wiring and protection remain parts of the complete installation.

Choose the current version for the load and operating conditions, then check the actual unit's input range and cooling requirements. A current-capacity label is an upper rating, not a command to push that current into every connected component.
