Wooden File Handle, 5-Piece Replacement Grip Set, 9 cm
A file without a handle puts the tang straight into your palm, and a split grip leaves it there. This five-piece set of 9 cm wooden handles slips over the tang and is held by a metal sleeve, fitting files, rasps, screwdrivers and hand drills. For toolboxes with missing or broken grips.
Give bare files and drills a proper grip
✅ Five handles in one pack Five pieces means a file, a rasp and a screwdriver can each get a grip from one order.
✅ Shaped for the palm The wooden body is shaped to sit in the hand rather than leaving you holding a bare tang.
✅ Puts a split file back to work When a wooden grip cracks, the tool can take a replacement instead of being set aside.
✅ Not only for files Screwdrivers, rasps and hand drills take the same handle, so one pack covers the drawer.
Fitting is a push fit. The tang goes into the groove at the top of the wooden body and the metal sleeve closes around it, which is what keeps the handle on the tool. Pull the tool before you use it; a handle that rocks on the tang needs refitting, not a harder push.
The pack holds five handles and nothing else. Files, rasps, drill bits and screwdrivers are not included, so this is the repair for tools you already own rather than a starter set. Colour is as shown, and slight variation from the photos is normal.
The 9 cm length is the figure to compare with the tang on your tool: the wooden body should cover the tang, with the sleeve gripping near the top. A tang longer than the handle will stand proud of it, and that is the one measurement worth taking before ordering.
