Give the Numbers a Consistent Context

Use the same sampling method and note the parameter with each result when comparing water over time. Conductivity and the TDS indication can be useful reference values, but they do not identify each substance present or establish that water is safe to drink.

Follow the calibration, cleaning and storage instructions for the supplied pen, and keep the sensor suitable for the next sample. Hold the reading when you need to write it down, then record temperature alongside the other values for the check.
