LED Dusk to Dawn Bulb, E27, 12 W or 15 W, Cool White
A porch light left on all night is easy to forget in the morning. This E27 bulb carries its own light sensor, switching on below 15 lux and off again above 40 lux, so the fitting can stay switched on. Cool white, in 12 W or 15 W.
A bulb that switches itself on at dusk
✅ Porch lit before you reach it Come back after dark and the fitting is already on, with no switch to find.
✅ Sensor, not a timer It reads the light: on below 15 lux, off above 40 lux at dawn.
✅ Garage and driveway Above a garage door or beside a drive, the ground is lit when you get out of the car.
✅ Screws into E27 The base is E27, so an existing porch, garage or garden fitting takes it.
✅ Cool white light The colour sits at 6000 to 6500 K, nearer daylight than the warm glow of a filament lamp.
Two powers are offered, 12 W and 15 W, and the voltage options cover 110 V and 220 V supplies. Check the voltage at the fitting before ordering, since the option has to match the supply in the house.
The sensor reads light rather than time, so the switching shifts with the seasons instead of with a clock. A dark afternoon can bring the bulb on early, and a bright lamp close by can keep it off; that is the sensor doing its work rather than a fault.
It goes into an E27 fitting that is switched on at the wall, and the bulb takes over from there. The rating is IP44, which covers splashes rather than immersion, so a fitting that shields the bulb is better than an open socket. One bulb arrives in the parcel; the fitting and the switch are not part of it.
