Football Shin Guard Sleeves

Mini shin guards only stay in place if something holds them there. These stretch-knit sleeves keep compatible guards positioned on the leg, without pretending to be impact protection on their own.

A sleeve that holds the guard in place

The sleeve is a retaining layer, not a shin guard: on its own it does not provide impact protection, and it should be worn with a compatible guard fitted inside. Size it so the knit is stretched slightly, because a loose sleeve slides down during play.

Wash after use and let it dry flat, since heat from a tumble dryer relaxes the knit. Check the guard sits centred before each match and that the sleeve has not rolled at the top.
