Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto Adapter for Wired Systems
Use compatible CarPlay or Android Auto without reconnecting the phone cable for each drive. This USB adapter converts an existing supported wired system to wireless operation. It is for owners who already have factory-wired smartphone integration.
- ✅ Leave the phone cable disconnected — The adapter provides a compatible wireless link.
- ✅ Keep the existing head unit — The USB accessory does not require replacing the radio.
- ✅ Reconnect after initial setup — Automatic connection is stated after pairing.
- ✅ Use the matching phone platform — CarPlay and Android Auto are separate supported functions.
Wireless operation starts with an existing wired system
Confirm the car's original wired CarPlay or Android Auto works before choosing. The adapter does not add either function to a radio that lacks it, and the USB port must carry data.
Named phone requirements are iOS 10 or later and Android 11 or later. BMW, Tesla and Huawei EMUI limitations are stated. Black and two-in-one variant labels require package confirmation; exact vehicle compatibility remains model-dependent.
