400 W Electric Grinder for Coffee, Nuts, Grains and Spices
One machine on the worktop covers the morning coffee and the spices for dinner. This 400 W grinder takes coffee beans, grains, nuts and dried spices in a bowl of 50 g to 200 g, and its stainless steel body wipes over with a cloth. It suits small kitchens.
One grinder for coffee, grains, nuts and spices
✅ Ground just before brewing Beans go into the bowl and come out as grounds for a cafetiere or filter, so the coffee is fresh each morning.
✅ Spices from the same bowl Dried spices and grains grind in the same machine, so the coffee shelf and the spice rack share one appliance.
✅ Four blades, one speed Four blades turn in the stainless steel bowl, and with one speed you judge the texture by how long you run it.
✅ Batch to fit the jar The bowl takes 50 to 200 g, so a single pot or a week of beans can be ground in one go.
✅ Clean without water Unplug it and brush out the bowl and lid, because water washing is not permitted on this machine.
Fineness is a matter of time rather than a dial. Run the grinder in short bursts, stop, and check the texture between pulses; a coarse grind for a cafetiere takes less running than a fine one for a filter cone.
The bowl is for dry goods. Vegetables, fruit, meat, bones and anything damp are out, and so are woody stems, roots and branches. Oily items such as sesame, walnuts and peanuts give a better result if they are toasted first, which reduces the oil that would otherwise clog the grind.
The motor and the stainless steel body warm up in use, and a little heat is normal. Give the machine a rest between batches instead of running it back to back, and expect a faint motor smell during the first few uses.
For a first run, grind a small handful of rice to scour the inside of the bowl, then tip it out. After that, unplug the grinder and clean the bowl and lid with the brush or a dry cloth; the housing is stainless steel, and water has to stay out of it.
