Motorcycle Handlebar Switch for 7/8 Inch Bars, 12 V DC
A horn button that sticks is a small fault with an annoying effect on every ride. This handlebar switch is a single-unit replacement wired for 12 V DC systems, with a 47 cm cable and a body shaped for 7/8 inch handlebars. Choose the left-hand horn or right-hand start version.
One switch, one side, wired for 12 V
✅ Replace just the broken side Each unit is sold singly, so a dead horn button need not mean buying a pair.
✅ Clamp sized for narrow bars The clamp is made to fit 7/8 inch handlebars, so it matches bars of that diameter.
✅ Cable long enough to route The 47 cm lead gives slack to reach the loom behind the headlamp.
✅ Goes into the existing loom Made for 12 V DC systems, it slots into the horn or start circuit already there.
Both versions share the same body and cable length. What changes is the side they replace: the left-hand unit covers the horn, the right-hand unit covers the start position.
Run the cable alongside the existing loom and keep it clear of the steering lock before you refit the grip. Check the horn or starter works before the last bolt goes back in.
Measure your bar diameter first. 7/8 inch is about 22 mm, and a 1 inch bar needs a different clamp, so the measurement decides whether this unit fits.
Only the switch is supplied. Plugs and terminals are not confirmed as part of the set, so look at the connector on the bike before ordering.
