Handheld Wall Scanner with Stud, Metal and AC Modes
Look for supported studs, metal and live AC wiring before planning a wall fixing. This handheld scanner combines an illuminated display with audible feedback to help follow the scan.

Calibrate, Scan and Cross-Check the Result
Select the mode for the target and wall construction, calibrate as instructed and move the scanner slowly across the surface. Five- and six-function versions are represented by the pictured selections.
The unit requires a 9 V 6F22 battery, supplied separately. Detection varies with construction and target position; it does not prove an area free of wiring or safe to drill without other appropriate checks.
