BY-M1 / BY-M1S Wired Lavalier Microphone

Place a microphone close to your voice for interviews, presentations and video recording with the BY-M1 series.

Record speech with a long wired connection

• A 6 m cable gives you room to position the camera or recorder.
• An omnidirectional pickup pattern captures speech around the microphone.
• Clip-on mounting keeps the microphone near the speaker.
• A 3.5 mm connection works with compatible microphone inputs.
• BY-M1 and BY-M1S options let you choose the appropriate power arrangement.

Technical details

BY-M1: 6 m cable, 3.5 mm connection, 65 Hz-18 kHz frequency range and LR44 battery for powered use. BY-M1S: battery-free version. Bundle accessories depend on the selected option.

Check the device's microphone socket and any required adapter before buying. For BY-M1, use the smartphone or camera switch position specified in the instructions. Phones without a compatible 3.5 mm socket require an appropriate microphone adapter.
