The plug is the part to check first. The cable is wired and about 1.2 m long, so compare the connector on your Shure or Audio Technica bodypack with the one on this mic before ordering, because the socket has to match.

The capsule needs plug-in power of 2.0-10 V DC from the transmitter, so confirm your bodypack provides bias voltage on the mic input before you rely on it.

On a stand the mic would be fixed; on a headframe it travels with you. Worship leaders, lecturers and anyone speaking with their hands full keep the same pickup as they turn between notes, a screen and the front row, and the single-ear frame leaves the other ear free for a monitor or a cue.

The box holds the microphone and two foam covers, which push over the capsule to soften wind and plosive noise. The finish is beige, the frame is single-ear, and the cable runs to a bodypack rather than to a stand.
