12V 2A Smart Battery Charger for Lead-Acid, AGM and GEL

A charge session is straightforward. Connect the output leads to the battery terminals, plug the charger in, and read the screen: voltage, current, charged capacity and battery capacity are shown as the charge builds. When the battery reaches full, the charger stops feeding current, and you disconnect the leads before putting the charger away.
The one thing it will not charge is a lithium battery, so check the label on yours before ordering. Capacity matters too: the range is 4 Ah to 30 Ah, which covers car, motorcycle and scooter batteries of the lead-acid family but not a large leisure bank or a tiny 1 Ah cell.
At 2 A this is a charger, not a jump starter. A deeply flat 30 Ah battery will take hours rather than minutes, which suits a battery you can leave on charge overnight in a garage or shed. It is not a substitute for a boost pack when the car is already stranded.
The output cable is about 35 cm and the mains cable about 65 cm, so the charger sits close to the battery. The ABS shell is flame-retardant, and the working range is -20 °C to +45 °C; keep it dry and out of standing water.
