Make the Readings Part of a Consistent Routine

For repeat checks, use a consistent sampling method and record the parameter as well as the number. pH, conductivity and temperature describe different aspects of the sample; a change in one reading should not be treated as an explanation of every water condition.

Follow the model's pH and EC calibration procedures with the appropriate reference solutions, and clean the electrode between samples as instructed. This actual selection is without backlight. Prepare three LR44 cells and follow the electrode-care directions so the pen is ready for the next check.
