Bring existing IR controls into one app

Connect the controller to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and place it with an unobstructed IR path to the appliance. Infrared does not travel through walls, so one controller should not be treated as a whole-home control system.

Check the app's appliance compatibility or teach supported IR commands from the original remote. RF and Bluetooth appliance remotes are not compatible. Supported appliance commands can be linked to compatible voice-assistant services, but DIY-learned commands are not confirmed for voice control.

Temperature and humidity readings are available locally and in the app for supported routines. Alexa/Google integration is for compatible appliance commands, not exposure of the unit as a temperature/humidity sensor. The clock uses a fixed 12-hour AM/PM format.

The controller requires a continuous 5 V, 1 A Micro-USB power supply and has no built-in battery. One controller is supplied; a mains adapter is not included. Phones, smart speakers and controlled appliances in the pictures are separate.

Voice-assistant equipment is separate and must be linked for compatible appliance commands.
