Dynamic Microphone Cartridge Capsule, 20 mm, Pack of 1 or 3

A handheld mic starts cutting out mid-rehearsal, and the capsule is the part that fails first. This dynamic cartridge measures 20 mm across and fits wireless and wired microphone bodies that take this capsule type. Keep a spare in the case. For anyone repairing a mic rather than replacing it.

Swap the capsule, keep the microphone

✅ Drops into a handheld body It is a replacement head for wireless and wired microphones built to take this capsule.

✅ Easy to fit Installation is a straight swap, so the microphone goes back into service the same evening.

✅ One or three in the pack Take one capsule for a single repair, or a three-pack for spares in the gig bag.

✅ Spare in the case A capsule in the accessory pocket means a dead mic mid-set does not end the night.

✅ Measured before you order Compare the diameter and depth of the old capsule against the 20 × 8 mm figures.

Take the old capsule out first and measure it across the widest point and in depth: 20 mm and 8 mm are the figures this one is sold at, with a 2–3% tolerance from manual measurement. A capsule that is a size out is the usual reason a replacement will not seat properly, so the measurement is worth doing before the order.

The capsule is specified for wireless and wired microphone bodies, which covers a stage handset and a fixed mic used for announcements, provided both take the same capsule shape. The pack holds the cartridge only; body, grille, cable and mounting hardware stay with the microphone you already have.

Both variants ship the same capsule and only the count changes. A single one is enough for one microphone, while the three-pack makes sense where several mics are passed between people and a failure would stop a session.
